MYTH5. RHINOPLASTY CAUSES LONG-TERM BREATHING ISSUES

 

The rhinoplasty surgery not permanently change the functionality or breathing ability of nose. Patient may experience only some minor nasal blockage as a result of the nasal pack and splint on nose in recovery phase, but this will subside within the first few days. The goal of rhinoplasty either aesthetic or functional the nose should be blockage free and matched with other facial features.

 

MYTH 6. ANAESTHESIA IS DANGEROUS

Anaesthesia is used as a pain-preventing method in surgery and because it puts patients to sleep, giving the doctors freedom to concentrate and complete their procedure work.

 

MYTH 7. RHINOPLASTY IS A PAINFUL PROCEDURE

During rhinoplasty surgery patent won’t actually feel any pain throughout the duration of procedure because procedure do either under general or local anaesthesia.

 

MYTH 8. RHINOPLASTY SURGERY IS COVERED IN INSURANCE PLAN

If someone has simply undergoing rhinoplasty surgery to change only his appearance, then insurance company most likely won’t cover the cost of it but if sometimes patients require nasal reconstruction surgery for both functional and cosmetic reasons in which case insurance company may cover a certain portion of the cost. This is individual matter of healthcare provider and insurance company.
